Welcome to the website of The Slovenian Association for International Relations

The Slovenian Association for International Relations (SDMO – Slovensko društvo za mednarodne odnose) was founded in April 1991 to contribute to joint efforts for the prompt international recognition of the sovereign Republic of Slovenia. At the initiative of ambassador Rudi Čačinovič (1914 – 2008†), the dean of Slovenian diplomacy, the association brought together experts in international relations, diplomats, foreign policy journalists, business people, university professors.
